Bei der Entwicklung des neuen Extreme2 Dämpfers lag unser Hauptaugenmerk auf der konsequenten Reibungsreduzierung. Aufgrund der daraus resultierenden Effizienz und Präzision sind wir nun noch besser in der Lage den Spagat zwischen Straßen und Extremen Offroad Einsatz zu meistern. So wie es sich für echte Adventure Motorräder gehört. Weiterhin wirkt sich die reduzierte Reibung auch äußerst positiv auf den Verschleiß aus, sodass dein Federbein nach Jahren der extremen Nutzung die Performance beibehält. Die extreme Reibungsreduzierung haben wir unter anderem durch die speziellen "low friction" Kolbenbänder, welche das Gleitverhalten der neuen 46 mm Kolben maßgeblich verbessern erreicht. Dadurch verfeinert sich das Ansprechverhalten der Extreme2 Dämpfer deutlich. Unsere weiterentwickeltes wegabhängiges Dämpfungssystem (PDS) verfügt über einen neu entworfenen Hydraulikstopp der noch präziser arbeitet und das Durchschlagen selbst im härtesten Geländeeinsatz verhindert. Bei dauerhaft harter Beanspruchung des Federbeins haben viele Fahrwerke das Problem, dass sich das Dämpferöl übermäßig erhitzt. Durch die dadurch entstehende Viskositätsänderung wird die Dämpferleistung drastisch reduziert. Steigen die Temperaturen nimmt auch der Verschleiß exponentiell zu, was zu einem irreparablen Versagen des gesamten Bauteils führen kann. Um dies zu vermeiden hat der Extreme2 Dämpfer ein neues Reservoir Design mit mehr Ölvolumen und besserer Wärmeabfuhr. So können wir selbst kleinste Performance Rückgänge kategorisch ausschließen. Abgerundet wird der neue Dämpfer mit einem erweiterten Druckstufeneinstellbereich im Low und Highspeed. Damit kann die Dämpfung an alle Bedürfnisse noch präziser eingestellt werden. Zusätzlich verfügt das Extreme2 Federbein über alle Features des Extreme1 Federbeins. Für maximale Gewichtseinsparung haben wir bei diesem Fahrwerk jedoch bewusst auf den hydraulische Federvorspannung verzichtet. Selbstverständlich kannst du deine Federvorspannung weiterhin mechanisch einstellen.Das hier verbaute Grund-Setup ist abgestimmt auf Fahrer bis 100 kg zuzüglich Reisegepäck.
