During many of our trips to dusty and dry countries, as well as during most sports and rally events, we faced the issue of fine dust repeatedly entering the intake tract through the air filters. This sometimes had significant consequences for the engine. Over the past few years, we have tried and tested many air filters. We found the solution to our dust problem in Australia. The rear brake cylinder is covered and protected by a plastic part on the KTM 790/890 Adventure and Husqvarna Norden 901. However, in off-road use, the original part can be severely scratched or even broken due to stone impacts. The Touratech brake cylinder guard has a larger area, fully covering the entire brake cylinder, including the brake line connection. This weak point is effectively protected.
