The upper crash bar from SW-MOTECH is the ideal complement to the original KTM crash bar for the KTM 1290 Super Adventure R and S as well as the KTM 1090 Adventure from 2016 onwards. These specialized protective components are constructed from robust, black powder-coated steel and were developed exclusively for these motorcycle models.
The upper crash bars primarily protect the fairing and plastic components of your motorcycle while providing additional safety in case of crashes and accidents. By complementing the original crash bar, your motorcycle achieves an individual and premium appearance that emphasizes your safety equipment.
The construction is based on robust steel tubing with a 22-millimeter pipe diameter and a wall thickness of 2.5 millimeters. This dimensioning offers optimal protection with minimal weight. The weather-resistant and corrosion-resistant black powder coating is also available in orange from the factory and harmonizes perfectly with the color of the original crash bar.
The model-specific engineering guarantees precise fit and secure attachment. Installation is straightforward through bolting to the factory-designated mounting points on the frame. Installation requires no specialized tools and is achievable even for less experienced riders.
Important note: Installation is only possible in combination with the original KTM crash bar. Delivery includes 2 upper crash bars, installation instructions, and complete mounting hardware.
