It is mounted on the back of the transmission and accommodates the clutch cable. Never again should your tour abruptly end somewhere in the middle of nowhere. The clutch release levers often break at the bottom of the transmission. Original spare parts are often unavailable. Therefore, we have manufactured a reinforced clutch lever from high-strength aluminum. We have increased the material thickness by about 30%. During the next transmission repair or clutch replacement, this lever can replace the original, reducing a critical point on your motorcycle. Alternatively, you can take it as a spare part (emergency tool) on your travels for emergencies. We have already saved some of you on vacation, trips, or tours with a DHL Express delivery. The cockpit cover 2 encloses the instrument cluster of the R1200GS. Additionally, two sockets with a fuse unit are integrated. This allows devices such as mobile phones or GPS units to be plugged directly into the cockpit, eliminating the need for the connection cable to be routed around the motorcycle. Thanks to the secured direct connection, charging is also possible with the ignition turned off, which is otherwise a problem with the R1200GS. This cover is made from black powder-coated aluminum combined with stainless steel fasteners. Everything fits perfectly; the unit can be mounted either alone or together with cockpit cover 1 (item number 044-0552).- due to design reasons, it is not compatible with internally mounted GPS brackets (e.g., Touratech 040-0663 / 040-0667 or BMW)
