The Touratech levers are made from high-strength aluminum, machined from solid material like in aircraft construction. They are adjustable in six positions and foldable. This has the advantage that in the event of a fall, the lever can fold up without breaking. During normal operation, the levers are protected against folding up by a mechanism.The levers can be adjusted in length by 35mm using a dovetail connection. The anodizing meets the highest quality standards. All screw connections comply with DIN standards and are tightened with a torque wrench before delivery.The CNC levers are delivered with a German ABE (General Operating Permit) and are therefore registration-free.

The ground clearance is not restricted by these two base plates. Additionally, plastic rails at the lower part of the base plate ensure that the already recessed screw heads are completely covered. This means that the engine protection can still be easily removed even after heavy off-road use. Last but not least, the plastic rails facilitate the "sliding over" of stones, rocks, or tree stumps. Almost incidentally, they also prevent dirt from settling.
