The focus is on weight savings (typically a reduction of about 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part has been completely manufactured from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic coating in the next step to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
