With the Touratech reinforcement strut, the BMW engine protection bar of the R1250GS becomes a fully-fledged crash bar! Because only the additional support point ensures maximum safety.Thanks to its electropolished surface and the use of the same diameters, it fits both technically and visually perfectly with the BMW engine protection bar of the GS.The reinforcement strut made of robust 25mm stainless steel pipe is incredibly easy to install. This is made possible by a novel connection technology.With little effort, the Touratech reinforcement strut provides a lot of added value!Set for both sides!Not suitable for cylinder head cover "Option 719".

The Touratech reinforcement strut creates an additional, fourth support point! This establishes a real, secure cage around the valve cover and cylinder head. Acting forces are reliably absorbed, distributed, and redirected to the appropriate location in the frame. Thus, the strut is an absolutely sensible addition to the original BMW engine protection bar, which lacks this support. Its three mounting points leave the rear, upper area entirely dependent on the strength of the tube alone. What may be sufficient for falls while stationary can quickly lead to serious problems during proper off-road use of the GS! The risk of damaged valve covers then becomes real.   The original BMW engine protection bar is noticeably stabilized with the help of the Touratech reinforcement strut, thus reliably fulfilling its role as a fully functional crash bar again.   With its electropolished surface and the use of the same diameters, the strut fits both technically and visually perfectly with the BMW engine protection bar of the 1300 Boxer GS. highly functional additional support made from robust electropolished 25mm stainless steel tube custom-fit mounting kit specifically developed for the R 1300 GS easy to install   The additional fourth support point ensures maximum functionality.
