Generally, the basic adapter can be mounted either upwards or downwards. This allows you to achieve a natural ergonomics and a healthier seating position. The optimal leg angle is 90°. When the leg angle is bent, the blood vessels also bend, which leads to insufficient oxygen supply to the leg and the dreaded varicose veins can develop.After installation, the adapters can be adjusted so that the footpeg is positioned vertically downwards, thus keeping the distance to the shift and brake lever relatively constant. Please note that on newer BMW models, nothing can be adjusted on the brake side. However, you will quickly get used to the changed foot position, just as you do in a car.Please consider that lowering the footpeg also means less lean angle.
