This Cartridge Kit Extreme is perfect for reducing the seat height (-35mm) for the Yamaha 700 Tenere. The Cartridge KIT is simply put a shock absorber for the fork and represents the absolute premium class in terms of suspension technology. The Closed Cartridge is installed in the original fork. This way, the fork bridge/handlebar mount, brakes, wheel guidance, and steering geometry remain fully intact. No additional modifications to the fork are required. This Close Cartridge is perfectly designed for touring and riding operations with frequently and heavily changing loads and riding conditions or extreme demands.

Any luggage volume from the tail bag to the loaded luggage system and/or passenger operation is accommodated by the Extreme adjustment range. The spring preload, rebound, and compression damping are fully adjustable from the top. The damping oil is contained in a closed cartridge, allowing for precise dosing of the oil quantity. This results in the Close Cartridge offering a significantly finer and more pleasant response behavior of the fork. The very finely adjustable damping allows for an effective, precise, and personalized suspension setup for any road condition and purpose, whether on highways, federal roads, small country roads, off-road sections, long-distance travel with large luggage, or a spirited, ambitious riding style. Should exceptionally severe road conditions affect the front wheel, the integrated "Hydraulic Endstop" prevents mechanical bottoming out of the fork.

The Level2 shock absorber in emulsion design can be adjusted for load adaptation to the large travel luggage via handwheel and hydraulic preload adjustment. Even with this design the PDS is installed. A hydraulic bottoming protection that prevents bottoming out even under the most extreme trail conditions with full luggage. Mechanical overload of the shock absorber is prevented. The damping works depending on the stroke. In the predominant driving operation, the shock absorber responds finely and is tuned for comfort and energy-saving.
