No matter how the GS falls, the Touratech engine crash bar is there where it is needed. The most comprehensive all-around protection ever available for boxer engines!
A "cage" made of 25mm thick, 2mm stainless steel pipes completely encloses the cylinders. Forces that occur are safely redirected and gently dissipated through effective distribution. Numerous mounting points and the predetermined bending points ensure not only safe protection for the cylinders but also for the frame and engine of your R1250GS.
Despite the impressive pipe diameters, the crash bar is mounted as close as possible to and symmetrically to the vehicle axis. It has virtually no impact on lean angle or ground clearance.
It integrates perfectly into the look of the R1250GS, completing the overall appearance; it simply belongs!
Made exclusively from robust electropolished stainless steel, the crash bar is resistant to rust. Even deeper scratches lose their menace and can be easily sanded down.
The mounting points are perfectly tailored to the R1250GS! Complete mounting materials are, of course, included in the delivery.

The 52 x 90 mm wide boot-friendly 4mm thick stainless steel claw profile provides the optimal combination of grip and self-cleaning with its special shape. Due to the rounded edges, the soles of the boots are not damaged, and the open design ensures that mud and stones fall away from under the boots through the footpegs, allowing for a secure grip on the peg. Even in minor falls or when the motorcycle tips over, the front wheel can hit the ground in such a way that the standard steering stop on the fork bridge gets bent or sheared off. Replacing the fork bridge is expensive and frustrating, and additional parts can also be damaged.
