This significantly reduces the risk of the hand brake lever attachment breaking off in the event of a fall, thus questioning the ability to continue riding. The hand protection can be combined with various spoilers, providing optimal wind and weather protection. A very robust and stable construction that has proven itself in many rally events and on other motorcycles (e.g., the R1200GS/R1150GS).
