The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% savings compared to the original part) and increased stiffness. The carbon part is manufactured according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material and, as is customary for us, is coated with a clear plastic layer for protection against environmental influences in the next step. This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. Not only does the coating excel technically, but it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.

This part is a direct replacement for the original component and contributes mainly to weight saving on the motorcycle (up to 70% less) and a higher stiffness of the parts. Like all of our carbon fibre parts. it was made according to the latest protocols and industry standards and can be considered to encompass all aspects of current 'best of industry' practice. The part is made completely out of pre-preg carbon fibre materials using an autoclave.
