The touring screen is generally longer, and sometimes wider than the original screen, to better protect the rider from wind and weather. Depending on the angle of the screen, the rear edge of the screen is also tilted upwards across its entire width on some models, acting as a wind deflector. This makes riding more comfortable even on longer trips.
