Adjustable Footpeg Lowering Kit for BMW F800ST / F800GTWith the new footpeg adapter, no wish remains unfulfilled. As diverse as its adjustment options are, so are its applications. The adapter in its basic form fits 98% of all motorcycle models.Its adjustability is complemented by a universal adapter for 40 mm lowering. It can be adjusted in increments of 4°. Generally, the basic adapter can be mounted either upwards or downwards. This allows you to achieve a natural ergonomics and a healthier sitting position. The optimal leg angle is 90°. When the leg angle is bent, the blood vessels also bend, resulting in insufficient oxygen supply to the leg, which can lead to the dreaded varicose veins.After installation, the adapters can be adjusted so that the footpeg is positioned vertically downwards, keeping the distance to the shift and brake lever relatively constant.MV thus complements its existing program and simultaneously replaces the rigid and expensive adapters. If needed, you can also order a brake lever or a shift lever cap for your BMW. The brake lever cap does not fit the F800R.Please note that on newer BMW models, nothing can be adjusted on the brake side anymore. However, you will quickly get used to the changed foot position, just as you do in a car.Please consider that lowering the footpeg also means less lean angle. Our recommendation: If you also have problems with slipping off the smooth peg while riding, you can change the peg and instead install the pegs with rubber pads from the F800S. A full 70 mm closer - higher or further adjustment range is now available.This allows you to achieve a natural ergonomics for a healthier sitting position.With adjustment times of only about 2 minutes, the handlebar can be quickly adapted to the respective tour.
