NGK Spark Plug The secret of the new Iridium IX spark plug lies in the laser-welded electrode made of iridium. With its "minimal" diameter of just 0.6 mm, it concentrates the ignition voltage. Advantages: The optimal ignition properties of the Iridium IX spark plugs prevent fouling during stop-and-go traffic. Misfires or ignition dropouts are prevented. This reduces emissions and protects (if present) the catalytic converter and the environment. The Iridium IX spark plugs ensure a "smooth" engine operation, enhance the riding experience through better acceleration, and thus provide more driving pleasure. The Iridium IX spark plug lasts at least twice as long as any standard spark plug. Frequent spark plug changes are therefore "out." This, in turn, reduces costs. Highest ignition reliability, even combustion, optimal engine performance, and spontaneous throttle response are the result of state-of-the-art technology and reduce fuel consumption. The optimized electrode shape reduces the ignition voltage requirement, protects the engine, and ensures a "smooth" operation.

The carbon number plate holder for the BMW S 1000 R (2014-now) / S 1000 RR Street (2010-now) / HP 4 (2012-now) replaces the original part using the original mounting points. It is slightly shorter than the original part. This makes the motorcycle&rsquos tail seem a bit taller. This part is a direct replacement for the original component and contributes mainly to weight saving on the motorcycle (up to 70% less) and a higher stiffness of the parts. The part is made completely out of pre-preg carbon fibre materials using an autoclave.
