The carbon alternator cover for the BMW S 1000 R (2014-now) / S 1000 RR Street (2010-now) / HP 4 (2012-now) with partially attached using the alternator cover screws. and in the front area also glued on using a small dot on the alternator cover. This part is an addition to the original components on the motorcycle and helps to protect the motorcycle. The left frame cover for the HP4 RACE, the premium racer from BMW, is handcrafted in a limited series of 750 pieces!The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% savings compared to the original part) and increased stiffness. The carbon part is made entirely from prepreg material (see FAQ) according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave and, as is customary with us, is coated with a clear plastic layer for protection against environmental influences in the next step.
