The HP sports silencer, made entirely of titanium and carbon, is characterized by a robust sound and increased torque in the lower and mid RPM range. The powerful punch can be utilized both off-road and during overtaking maneuvers on the road. Additionally, it features an exclusive BMW Motorrad design in a hexagonal-asymmetrical shape that emphasizes its distinctive sporty appearance. The end cap and heat shield are made of carbon, making the slip-on silencer weigh only 4.3 kg, which is 0.6 kg lighter than the stock part. The side surface of the exclusive sports silencer is adorned with a laser-etched Akrapovič and HP logo. The HP sports silencer is perfectly tuned to the engine, providing an optimal level of performance output. Torque increase. Weight savings. Robust sound. Sporty appearance. With additional available headers made of the finest titanium, you can upgrade your Akrapovic Slip-On exhaust system to a full system. This part is a direct replacement for the original component and contributes mainly to weight saving on the motorcycle (up to 70% less) and a higher stiffness of the parts. For this. thermic stressed. carbonpart. we use special high-temperature prepreg material (see FAQ) to avoid burning and staining of the part.  Like all of our carbon fibre parts. it was made according to the latest protocols and industry standards and can be considered to encompass all aspects of current 'best of industry' practice. The part is made completely out of pre-preg carbon fibre materials using an autoclave. As with all our carbon parts. we use a clear plastic coating that not only improves the appearance. but also protects the carbon fibre from scratching and has a unique UV resistance.
