Oil Level Check

The sump guard / undertray for the BMW R 1200 GS is a direct replacement for the original component and contributes mainly to weight saving on the motorcycle (up to 70% less) and a higher stiffness of the parts. Like all of our carbon fibre parts. it was made according to the latest protocols and industry standards and can be considered to encompass all aspects of current 'best of industry' practice. The part is made completely out of pre-preg carbon fibre materials using an autoclave. As with all our carbon parts. we use a clear plastic coating that not only improves the appearance. but also protects the carbon fibre from scratching and has a unique UV resistance.

With its excellent off-road capabilities, the R1200GS invites you to take extended off-road trips time and again. To ensure that this enjoyment remains guilt-free, we have developed an engine guard specifically for the R1200GS. Impacts and stresses are distributed across the entire engine block, providing optimal protection for the engine casing. Brilliant and elegant - beautiful protection against foreign substances in the oil circuit of your R1250/R1200.Made of aluminum, CNC-machined, anodized, and with an integrated hexagon for opening.The plug is simply installed in place of the original plastic part and can then only be opened with a TORX50 key. This makes easy disassembly more difficult, yet quick maintenance remains no problem. (Torx bit is not included)

This crash bar is specifically designed to match the aesthetics of the R1200GS. It incorporates the lines and shapes of the elegant boxer engine and integrates them optimally into the overall look of the motorcycle. Despite these aesthetic demands, it is undoubtedly one of the best crash bars on the market, as it not only protects the cylinders but also stabilizes the engine housing through a bridge construction with predetermined bending points. This way, in most fall scenarios, there is not such a great load on this mounting thread, and the engine housing remains intact. It would indeed be a shame if the valve cover is protected, but the engine housing gets destroyed. With additional supports on the main frame, the connecting bar is also designed to be very stable and can thus absorb greater loads and forces.The crash bar is made of stainless steel, as the R1200GS practically demands this high-quality and noble material.Installation is very simple and can be completed in a short time.
