The BMW ConnectedRide Cradle Smartphone Holder is a mount that allows you to use your smartphone on your BMW motorcycle, particularly as a GPS. The connection and pairing are only performed once during the initial setup.If your motorcycle is equipped with a Multicontroller and the optional equipment "Onboard Computer Pro," additional functions can be utilized.When you connect your phone via Bluetooth (Bluetooth Low Energy version 4.2 minimum), you can use the application with the same controls as for the GPS Navigator VI.Once mounted on the holder, your phone will be charged, either via induction (according to Qi standard, 7.5 W max.) or via USB-C port (7.5 W, 1.5 A for 5 V). An LED display shows you the charging status, and this display can be turned off.
