EBC Standard Semi-Sintered Metal Brake Pads (V-Series) The EBC Standard Semi-Sintered Metal Brake Pads (V-Series) are organic aramid brake pads with a 30% copper content, designed for cruisers, big twins, and touring bikes. These pads are 6 times stronger than steel and are completely asbestos-free. The medium to high friction coefficient ensures strong braking power across a wide temperature range. The high braking force results in minimal wear on both the brake pad and the brake disc. EBC Standard Semi-Sintered Metal Brake Pads (V-Series) are TÜV certified and come with an ABE!
All brake discs come with an ABE, also for scooters. The discs are low-wear and have a lifespan up to 30% longer compared to some comparable replacement parts. All variants: Allround, RAC, and EC-offroad discs are made from extremely dimensionally stable and hardened steel. The precise surface grinding (thickness deviation of 2/100mm) prevents vibrations and improves the fit of the pads. A uniform temperature rise and fall allows for a constant pressure point. Brembo brake discs. MADE IN UK. The goal in development is to improve braking performance compared to the original brake disc. EBC uses HPSR steel with a low carbon content, which has an 18% higher coefficient of friction. This steel is significantly more resistant to rust than cast steel. Additionally, the entire surface is protected with a 3-micron thick zinc coating, which wears off in the brake pad contact zone during the break-in process. Only in this area can light surface rust form after prolonged periods of inactivity. The brake discs are drilled in a bird wing design to minimize the number of holes while optimizing the cleaning of the brake disc from rainwater and brake dust.
