The cylinder protection is a custom-tailored protective set specifically developed for the BMW R1200 R, ST, GS, and Adventure. If you love your boxer engine, it deserves the right extra measure of protection – these protective elements integrate seamlessly into the elegant design of the BMW and reliably protect the boxer valve covers from stone chips and crash damage.
The set consists of two protectors for both boxer valve covers (right and left sides) and combines a laser-cut aluminum substructure with CNC-machined aluminum wear pads. An innovative rubber damping on the inside ensures optimal vibration absorption and protects the engine from vibrations caused by road irregularities.
The silver brushed or anodized surfaces are crafted to a high standard and have a modern, sporty appearance. Assembly is remarkably simple: with just three screws per side, the protectors can be attached to existing mounting points on the original frame. No drilling or welding is required, and installation takes only minutes.
The system can be easily installed together with original SW-MOTECH crash bars, providing additional flexibility in customization.
