The brake fluid reservoir is quite openly accessible on the BMW. This poses a risk of damage or unauthorized access. The Touratech brake fluid reservoir guard made of laser-cut aluminum effectively prevents damage and access to the cap of the reservoir. Of course, the fluid level remains easily readable. The cover is simply screwed onto the existing mounting point.Not suitable for equipment variants with original BMW frame protection!

The cockpit cover 2 encloses the instrument cluster of the R1200GS. Additionally, two sockets with a fuse unit are integrated. This allows devices such as mobile phones or GPS units to be plugged directly into the cockpit, eliminating the need for the connection cable to be routed around the motorcycle. Thanks to the secured direct connection, charging is also possible with the ignition turned off, which is otherwise a problem with the R1200GS. This cover is made from black powder-coated aluminum combined with stainless steel fasteners. Everything fits perfectly; the unit can be mounted either alone or together with cockpit cover 1 (item number 044-0552).- due to design reasons, it is not compatible with internally mounted GPS brackets (e.g., Touratech 040-0663 / 040-0667 or BMW)
