The Touratech Suspension Extreme Shock Absorber. The name says it all. With the "Extreme," the suspension is not automatically and continuously adjusted. The necessary adjustments are made manually, balancing the motorcycle according to the load. The hydraulic bottoming protection PDS ensures that the spring elements do not "bottom out," even under the most challenging terrain conditions and with heavy luggage. The "Extreme" suspension from Touratech Suspension for the KTM Adventure-R provides more stability and comfort even in the toughest terrain and on thousands of kilometers of trails, resulting in increased safety and riding pleasure. For the KTM Adventure-R without EDS suspension, Touratech Suspension offers a "conventional" alternative. The "Extreme" shock absorber has been manufactured with the same precision components and parts that have already proven themselves over thousands of travel kilometers under the harshest conditions in our suspensions.
This means for you: Any luggage volume from the tail bag to the loaded luggage system and/or passenger operation is accommodated by the Extreme adjustment range. The balance of the motorcycle can be easily and quickly restored by hand wheel via the hydraulic preload adjustment. The very finely adjustable damping at the reservoir allows for an effective, precise, and personalized suspension setting at any time. The hydraulic bottoming protection PDS also effectively prevents mechanical bottoming at the end of the suspension travel.

The base setup installed here is tuned for riders up to 100 kg including travel luggage. Adjustments for much higher loads or other extraordinary requirements are possible.
