Touratech Engine Protection Expedition for Honda XL750 Transalp

Honda has once again created a true all-rounder in the mid-range with the Transalp XL750. A motorcycle with which (almost) anything is possible. To further expand the range of applications, Touratech has developed the Expedition engine guard.

Touratech has placed great emphasis on stability and functionality, tailoring the Expedition engine guard precisely to the XL750.

The Touratech Engine Guard "Expedition" offers optimal protection for your motorcycle.

For maximum stability, a 4 mm thick aluminum plate, additionally reinforced with multiple folds, is used. This is fixed to solid substructures made of 25x2 mm stainless steel tubing. The same diameter is also used in Touratech crash bars!

This not only makes an impression on the road! The Expedition engine guard also significantly improves off-road capabilities, inviting you to venture into the terrain.

Debris or stones kicked up by the front wheel do not reach the engine and exhaust manifold at all. Unpleasant damages, such as dents in the exhaust manifold, a damaged oil pan, or even holes in the engine block can be effectively avoided by the Touratech Expedition engine guard.
The force of an impact is efficiently dissipated thanks to the unique design, distributing the remnants evenly across the frame.

Last but not least, the plastic rails at the bottom of the engine guard plate facilitate the "sliding over" of stones, rocks, or tree stumps. Additionally, the rails ensure that the already recessed screw heads are completely covered. This makes it easy to disassemble the engine guard even after a heavy off-road use.
Almost incidentally, they also prevent dirt from settling.

The ground clearance / lean angle freedom is hardly restricted.
