The lower tank cover / Ansaugrohrabdeckung in carbon for the BMW R 1200 R (LC) from 2015 is made significantly larger than the original covers. They not only provide more protection, also the view of fuel lines and cables is limited with the help of these carbon parts and the Motronic looks tidier. This product replaces the original part using the original Befestigungspunkte.Im focus is on weight reduction (usually savings of approximately 70% compared with the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part is according to the latest guidelines in the autoclave entirely of prepreg (see FAQ) material and in the next step, as usual with us, covered for protection against environmental influences with a clear plastic coating. This plastic coating exceeds the usual clear lacquer coating in the protection, scratch resistance and resistance enormous.
