Footpeg Lowering Kit for BMW R1200R 2011+
including ABE
With the new footpeg adapter, no wish remains unfulfilled.
Due to high demand, we have worked on it again.
We have now succeeded in enabling a lowering for the R1200R rider, where the side stand does not need to be removed.
The disadvantage we calculated, that the side stand touches the holding plate, is intentional and unavoidable. Otherwise, the lowering would not be possible; it does not affect the lean angle. In this model, the adapters are not adjustable.
With the adapters, the footpeg is lowered by 30 mm.
This achieves a healthy ergonomics and a natural leg angle.
The optimal leg angle is 90°. With a bent leg angle, the blood vessels also bend, which means that the leg is insufficiently supplied with oxygen, leading to the dreaded varicose veins.
If needed, you can order a shift lever cap for your BMW. The brake lever cap does not fit the GS models, the F800R, and the R1200ST.
Please note that on newer BMW models, nothing can be adjusted on the brake side anymore. However, you will quickly get used to the changed foot position, just as you do in a car.
Please consider that lowering the footpeg also means less lean angle.
The advantage of these adapters is that the original footpeg is retained.
