A lightweight silencer housing and a heat shield made of carbon combined with a link pipe and header made of stainless steel, as well as an end cap made of titanium, create a system that is 2.2 kg (-31%) lighter than the stock component. The new design features a shorter silencer that provides a sportier look and exits prominently on the side of the motorcycle. The performance increases by 3.3 kW (4.5 hp) at 9,600 rpm, determined by comparing a Tracer 9 with a Racing Line (Carbon) exhaust system against a motorcycle with a stock exhaust system. Sporty, perfectly tuned racing sound developed for use on track days and closed racetracks.
The exhaust system is compatible with Yamaha hard-shell cases and the accessory main stand.
When installing the Racing Line (Carbon) exhaust system, the engine control light will illuminate, so a remapping of the ECU is mandatory.
Ordering the installation kit P-HF1596, including silencer clamp, bracket, and fastening materials, is mandatory separately.
