This shock absorber is perfect for reducing the seat height (-35mm) for the Yamaha 700 Tenere. At the same time, your Yamaha 700 Tenere remains well-tuned and very suitable for touring. This shock absorber is designed for touring and riding with frequently and heavily changing loads and riding conditions or extreme requirements. The Extreme shock absorber features PDS, a hydraulic bottoming protection through the use of a second damping piston. Even under the most extreme trail conditions with full luggage, there is no bottoming out, preventing mechanical overload of the shock absorber. The damping works based on the travel. In the predominant riding operation, the shock absorber is comfortably and power-saving adjusted, before the PDS engages in the last part of the shock absorber's travel.
