Some of the positive off-road characteristics have been further improved by our Touratech developers. This engine protection is an absolute revolution! Touratech has placed great emphasis on stability and functionality. Larger damages, such as holes in the engine block, can be effectively avoided with the large Touratech engine protection. For maximum stability, the multiple angled recesses in the 4 mm thick aluminum base plate play a key role, while the force of an impact is distributed over 8 mounting points thanks to two additional 4 mm stainless steel mounting plates on the engine. The ground clearance is not restricted by these two base plates.
