Comfort Seat One-Piece Fresh Touch, KTM 1290 Super Adventure S/R (2021-)

The KTM 1290 Super Adventure is made for epic rides. Comfort is essential, as the adventure rider wants to dismount the machine with a smile even after hours of riding. For this reason, there are the Touratech comfort seats. From the base to the cover, these seats are crafted with the highest craftsmanship and are meticulously designed down to the smallest detail.

Model-specific seat core
Like all Touratech comfort seats, the seat for the KTM 1290 Super Adventure has a precisely balanced angle of inclination that supports an upright riding position. The design of the seat surface prevents annoying sliding forward, while the typical hollow groove provides relief for the tailbone. Particularly practical is the reduced step length compared to the original equipment. This allows for easier ground reach with the feet while maintaining the same seat height.
 
Seat cover with Fresh Touch technology
As standard, Touratech uses a particularly high-quality bi-elastic cover material with Fresh Touch technology for the comfort seats. The special properties of the material enhance the reflection of sunlight, significantly counteracting the heating of the seat surface.

With great care, the seams of the cover have been placed to avoid particularly pressure-sensitive areas. Unlike many manufacturers, Touratech tapes the inside of the seams, preventing water from penetrating the seat core.

As befits a sporty adventure bike, the comfort seat for the 1290 is designed as a single piece. It is delivered complete with the base, eliminating the need for a complicated exchange process. Last but not least, the seams shine in a powerful orange as a tribute to KTM's signature color.
