This shock absorber is perfect for reducing the seat height (-40mm) on the Honda CRF1100L Adventure Sports. At the same time, your Honda CRF 1000L Adventure Sports remains well-tuned and very suitable for touring. This shock absorber is designed for touring and riding operations with frequently and heavily changing loads and riding conditions or extreme requirements. The Extreme shock absorber features PDS, a hydraulic bottoming protection achieved by using a second damping piston. Even under the most extreme trail conditions with full luggage, there is no bottoming out, preventing mechanical overload of the shock absorber. The damping is dependent on the travel. In the predominant riding operation, the shock absorber is adjusted for comfort and energy-saving, before the PDS engages in the last part of the shock travel.

For the safe stand of your Honda CRF1100L Adventure Sports after lowering, we recommend shortening the side stand.
The basic setup installed here is tuned for riders up to 100 kg plus luggage. Adjustments for much higher loads or other exceptional requirements are possible. The shock absorber will then be individually tailored to your needs.
