The carbon instrument cover in a glossy finish for the Ducati Scrambler from 2016 onwards is screwed onto existing mounting points on the vehicle.
The installation of the parts is done using original mounting points. The carbon part has been completely manufactured from prepreg material (see FAQ) in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary with us, coated with a clear plastic coating in the next step to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
