The fairing upper part for the Ducati Panigale V4 R Racing is delivered in a matte finish and das a matte finish, it fits perfectly with the original carbon parts installed on the Panigale V4 R Racing. The Ilmberger carbon fairing upper part replaces the standard plastic part. The Ilmberger component is mounted exclusively on the original mounting points.
Weight savings (typically around 70% compared to the original part) and increased stiffness are the main focus. The carbon part is manufactured entirely from prepreg material (see FAQ) according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave and, as is customary with us, is coated with a clear plastic layer for protection against environmental influences in the next step.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
