Defensa hand protectors - for a particularly wide range of applications.
The handlebar controls are among the most vulnerable components of a motorcycle. The solid protector reliably protects the levers from damage. The closed protectors have a bar that supports itself near the clamp blocks and at the end of the handlebar, completely surrounding the controls. This principle has proven itself under the toughest conditions on rally motorcycles.

The system consists of two bolted main components and a mounting kit. There is always the necessary space behind the protector, allowing the levers to move freely. The annoying contact, especially of the clutch lever, with the protector, as known from universal products, is a thing of the past with the Defensa.

The components of the Defensa are made from a high-strength, forged aluminum alloy that has proven itself in aircraft construction. With a thickness of 14 millimeters, the dimensions have been generously chosen without losing sight of the weight issue. Precision in manufacturing ensures excellent dimensional accuracy and thus a perfect fit.

Additionally, forging, compared to cast or milled aluminum, provides an even stronger and more resilient structure.

Thanks to the model-specific adaptation, stress-free installation is guaranteed, as is full steering lock.

Easy adaptation for on- and off-road use
For pure off-road use, the Defensa "Pure" variant is recommended, where only the bar is mounted. For mixed use, there is the Defensa "Expedition," which is equipped with a wind deflector made of plastic.

The plastic shell is slid over the main bar and clamped at the connection of the two aluminum components, ensuring a precise and secure fit. Those who need even more weather protection can additionally install the separately available "Extension" spoiler.
Of course, the Defensa Expedition can be easily converted back to Pure.

Not suitable for combination with original Aprilia heated grips.
