The Compañero Weather Traveller is a laminate rain suit designed for the Compañero Summer Traveller or any other suit. It is perfectly tailored in cut and design to match the Compañero Summer Traveller. This way, the protective suit stays where it belongs, and the weather protection comes on top. The laminate suit thus forms the second layer of the Compañero World Traveller for cooler days, rain, or even snow. Special features: - Ventilation with 2 AquaSeal® zippers at the front and 1 zipper at the back - Large use of reflective material according to EN20471 - Combination connection through a long connecting zipper - Tank protection - Adjustable arm closure - Soft collar closure It's clever to empty your pockets beforehand and store your items in the pockets of the over suit. These are spacious, easily accessible, and - of course - waterproof. Touratech has chosen GORE-TEX® 3-layer laminate (CORDURA®) as the material. In this textile composite material, the inner lining, climate membrane, and robust outer fabric are welded into a single unit. This means: the laminate does not add bulk, does not bulge, and always fits snugly. The most important feature of the over suit is, of course, its wind and waterproofness. And since GORE-TEX® 3-layer laminate (CORDURA®) is a functional material, the suit is naturally fully breathable. The clever aspect of the Touratech Compañero World Traveller is that the wind and waterproof membrane forms the outer layer of the clothing system. The airy summer suit conserves an air cushion inside and thus becomes a thermal lining itself. An additional insulating layer, such as fleece underwear, will only be needed in extremely low temperatures. In winter conditions, you will also appreciate the optional storm collar. Of course, the jacket and pants of the membrane suit can be connected with a zipper. When wearing the laminate suit in uncertain weather conditions during the transitional season, well-sealed ventilation zippers provide cooling when needed. With 2 AquaSeal zippers on the front and a long zipper on the back, ideal ventilation and thus the best wearing comfort are ensured. The jacket of the membrane suit is not only functional but also very stylish. It can hold its own against functional jackets from the outdoor segment and is a practical, waterproof, and breathable companion for evening city strolls and all excursions where the bike is not allowed to come along. For this purpose, an optional removable storm collar or hood can be attached. For transport, the jacket can be packed space-saving into itself.
