YSS fork valves transform a conventional fork into a controlled feeling with improved road contact. CAD designed and made from extremely lightweight 6061 T6 aluminum hardened to 65 Rockwell.
Finely adjustable and usable for almost all fork diameters.
Through a sophisticated system of holes in the valve, the oil flow in the fork is altered so that road contact and feedback become significantly more direct.
The rider gains safety and a better feel for the road surface.
Application range: On-road, off-road, racing, and touring applications.
The fork valves come pre-adjusted for the respective fork diameters.
Subsequent fine-tuning can be done by adjusting the oil quantity or using different oil viscosities.
Operating principle:
The YSS fork valve is installed between the piston rod and the fork spring. It is important to know the inner diameter of the dive tube and the bore in the piston rod beforehand.
The fine-tuning of the fork valve is possible with little effort after installation:
The fork bridge must be loosened, the oil drawn from the fork, and the fork valve lifted out from above.
Then, using an Allen key, the adjustment screw can be tightened or loosened in increments of 2 turns.
Please keep in mind to first turn the upper screw and then tighten with the lower lock nut.
