This product has been exclusively developed for the BMW R 1300 GS and is based on years of experience with the BMW GS series and its boxer engines.
A silencer in a dual-flow design made of lightweight titanium and a handcrafted carbon end cap provide a weight saving of 9.3% compared to the stock equipment. The silencer has been designed for improved performance and enhanced sound dampening to reduce environmental impact while producing a deep, full sound. A specially profiled surface of the silencer ensures additional strength and durability and features an engraved logo.
Power and torque increase by 1.4 kW (1.9 hp) at 7,600 rpm and 4.5 Nm at 2,300 rpm. These values were determined on the Akrapovič test bench compared to a BMW R 1300 GS with a stock exhaust system. The system is EC/ECE type-approved, and due to the simple plug-and-play installation, no mapping is required.
After installation, the system is fully compatible with the side cases from BMW Motorrad.
