This exhaust system impresses with a refined design made from race-proven materials used in its construction, a high-quality, lightweight link pipe made of titanium, an inner silencer structure made of titanium, and a newly designed end cap – all harmonized with an outer silencer casing made of carbon. The result is an exhaust system that is 23 percent lighter than the standard production version. At idle, it produces a full and intense sound, and while riding, the system offers a rich, full tone with the unmistakable Akrapovič character.
An upgrade of the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Carbon) is possible through a combination with two optional headers – made of titanium and stainless steel. For those who wish to combine the system with the headers, an optional sound suppression insert is available. This EU/ECE approved and Euro5 compliant product can be easily installed as plug-and-play, and remapping is not required.
With the installation of the optionally available headers, the EU/ECE type approval is void.
The EU/ECE type approval certificate does not apply to the model M 1000 R.
