With the new Battlax BT-023, BRIDGESTONE has developed a motorcycle tire that offers excellent riding characteristics under all conditions - whether for leisurely touring or sporty riding. The combination of high mileage and optimal wet grip for touring use, along with high grip levels and steering precision for sporty riding, makes the new BT-023 the first choice for touring sport vehicles of various weight classes. Consistent riding characteristics The modern technologies used in the new BT-023 bring significant improvements compared to its predecessor, the Battlax BT-021. Notably, there have been clear enhancements in the attributes relevant to a touring sport tire, such as mileage and wet grip. However, the expectations that a sporty rider has for their tire are also met by the BT-023. Mileage - Wet grip The higher mileage and improved wet grip are primarily achieved through a newly designed tread pattern and the use of new silica-rich rubber compounds. Comfort and stability The front and rear wheels of the BT-023 feature monospiral belt constructions (MSB) that provide the BT-023 with high self-damping, secure grip, and excellent straight-line stability on the highway. The 3-layer compound rubber mixture (3LC) used on the rear wheel has a grip-friendly mixture on the tire shoulder and a more stable rubber compound in the center of the tread.
