The exhaust end caps (2-piece) in carbon for the BMW R NineT Scrambler replace the original component using the original mounting points.Our exhaust end caps weigh only about 40g. For these thermally highly stressed carbon parts, we use special high-temperature prepreg material (see FAQ) to avoid discoloration and yellowing. The focus is on weight savings (typically a reduction of about 70% compared to the original component) and higher stiffness.The carbon part was completely manufactured from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic coating in the next step to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only technically does the coating excel, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.

The silencer protector (2 parts) for the BMW R Nine T Scrambler is a direct replacement for the original component and with the weight of only about 40g contributes mainly to weight saving on the motorcycle (up to 70% less) and a higher stiffness of the parts. For these thermically stressed parts we use special high-temperature prepreg material (see FAQ) to avoid burning and staining of the parts.   Like all of our carbon fibre parts. it was made according to the latest protocols and industry standards and can be considered to encompass all aspects of current 'best of industry' practice. The part is made completely out of pre-preg carbon fibre materials using an autoclave. As with all our carbon parts. we use a clear plastic coating that not only improves the appearance. but also protects the carbon fibre from scratching and has a unique UV resistance.
