Brembo brake discs EBC. MADE IN UK. The goal in development is to improve braking performance compared to the original brake disc. EBC uses HPSR steel with a low carbon content, which has an 18% higher coefficient of friction. This steel is significantly more resistant to rust than cast steel. Additionally, the entire surface is protected with a 3-micron thick zinc coating, which wears off in the brake pad contact zone during the bedding-in process. Only in this area can light surface rust form after prolonged periods of inactivity. The brake discs are drilled in a bird wing design to minimize the number of holes while optimizing the cleaning of the brake disc from rainwater and brake dust.
