Die weiterentwickelte Funktion des progressiven Dämpfungssystems (PDS) mit einem neu konstruierten Hydraulikstopp verhindert zuverlässig das Durchschlagen, selbst in extremen Situationen. Ein vergrößertes, zweiteiliges Reservoir sorgt für mehr Ölvolumen und eine maximierte Kühlfläche, was eine effektive Wärmeableitung ermöglicht und die konstante Dämpferleistung auch bei extremen Belastungen garantiert. Verschiedene Einstellmöglichkeiten machen die „Limited Edition“ Federelemente zu einem flexiblen System. Während die Zugstufendämpfung am Federbeinfuß eingestellt wird, lässt sich die doppelte Druckstufeneinstellung am Ausgleichsbehälter über einen besonders weiten Einstellbereich präzise anpassen. The Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel shock absorbers are simply swapped for the BMW DDC chassis. The existing connectors and switches on the handlebars are used as usual. The shock absorber and damping are thus more stable and the seals are less stressed.
