This crash bar is specifically designed to match the aesthetics of the R1200GS. It incorporates the lines and shapes of the elegant boxer engine and integrates them optimally into the overall look of the motorcycle. Despite these aesthetic demands, it is undoubtedly one of the best crash bars on the market, as it not only protects the cylinders but also stabilizes the engine housing through a bridge construction with predetermined bending points. This way, in most fall scenarios, there is not such a great load on this mounting thread, and the engine housing remains intact. It would indeed be a shame if the valve cover is protected, but the engine housing gets destroyed. The Varioscreen is two-part, with the upper part being ventilated and adjustable in height by 5 cm. This allows the rider to optimally adjust the screen for themselves. The ventilation helps to avoid turbulence.
This touring screen features a spoiler at the end that can be manually adjusted to the desired position in seven stages. The airflow behind the spoiler reduces wind pressure on the rider while simultaneously minimizing turbulence. The Vario touring screen is available in clear and smoke gray.
The X-creen screen consists of a base screen and the multi-adjustable X-creen spoiler. The delivery includes two joint versions: single joint "S" and double joint "D", which can be mounted optionally. The "S" variant is recommended for customers who are comfortable with the screen height and only want to adjust the spoiler angle. Customers who find the "S" variant too high or too low can use the "D" variant to adjust the height of the spoiler by 110mm, while also being able to adjust the spoiler angle independently of the height, as well as the distance to the base screen. This allows the X-Creen to be optimally adjusted to the individual needs of the rider.
