The Touratech Suspension *CSC* Steering Damper effectively optimizes the riding stability of the BMW R1200 GS / Adventure, whether in off-road and touring operations with high loads or during cornering. We experience that the linear Touratech Suspension *CSC* (Constant Safety Control) steering damper, with its permanently supportive effect, opens up completely new riding dimensions.
Depending on "individual requirements," the damping can be finely adjusted to the riding conditions over 24 clicks. Noticeable improvement in riding dynamics, even with high loads in travel trim, on long distances, on the worst roads, and/or on trails. The motorcycle can be maneuvered with the *CSC* steering damper significantly more stably, with less fatigue, and more safely.
The following influences are significantly minimized:
- No more strong steering input when cornering slowly with high loads.
- Minimization of disturbances transmitted to the handlebars by the rider.
- Example: Wind hitting the motorcycle clothing and disturbances caused by a truck or van ahead.
- Minimization of disturbances from ruts on highways, country roads, and also trails.

Replacing the fork bridge is expensive and frustrating, and additional parts can also be damaged. The Hard Part LA R1200GS is made from laser-cut aluminum and tough plastic components that absorb the impact. Additionally, a small distance is dampened by a rubber buffer.
