So ist beim Extreme-Federbein das PDS verbaut, ein hydraulischer Durchschlagschutz durch Verwendung eines zweiten Dämpferkolbens. Selbst bei extremsten Pistenverhältnissen mit vollem Reisegepäck kommt es zu keinem Durchschlagen, eine mechanische Überlastung des Federbeins wird verhindert. Die Dämpfung arbeitet wegabhängig.
