The Touratech Suspension Closed Cartridge is simply put a shock absorber for the fork. The Closed Cartridge is installed on the right side of the original fork. This way, the fork bridge/handlebar mount, brakes, wheel guidance, and steering geometry remain fully intact. No additional modifications to the left fork leg are required. This Closed Cartridge is specifically designed for the intensive touring riding of the BMW F850GS Adventure, which often experiences significant changes in load and riding conditions. Our Closed Cartridge elevates the front of the BMW F850GS Adventure to a new level of riding pleasure and performance. This means for you: Any luggage volume from the tail bag to the loaded luggage system and/or passenger operation is accommodated by the adjustment ranges of spring preload, rebound, and compression. The cartridge is fully adjustable from the top. In a closed cartridge (Cartridge), oil and nitrogen are separated by a bladder, ensuring constant and temperature-independent damping. This allows the Closed Cartridge to provide a significantly finer and more pleasant response of the fork. The combined rebound/compression adjustment allows for an effective, precise, and personalized suspension setup at any time. Built for every road condition and purpose, whether on highways, federal roads, narrow country roads, off-road sections, long-distance travel with heavy luggage, or spirited, ambitious riding style. Should exceptionally harsh road conditions affect the front wheel, the integrated "Hydraulic Endstop" prevents mechanical bottoming out of the fork.You will experience a completely new riding sensation with your motorcycle.
